Hi,
We were just talking about this earlier. Are you looking to play with an upload API or just more substantial docs on the various feeds we have?
Thomas.

I'm also interested in the API. Looking to add audioboo to a new Twitter client I'm developing, so you can follow a person on here too.
Just starting off with something basic like following a person...
Being able to find the RSS feed of a particular user Eg. Bobbyllew http://audioboo.fm/users/661/boos.atom (how to find their user number is 661) through a URL? I tried http://audioboo.fm/users/Bobbyllew/boos.atom but no go. Grabbing new boos and playing them should easy after that.
Although later it would be nice to add record and post functionality.
Cheers, Scott

Well, first I would like to be able to search the boostream - I am creating a podcast and asking people to submit boos with hashtag #madcp. Is search coming soon?

Search is coming. Just let us raise a bit of cash first! We have a whiteboard full of functionality that would be lovely/ Just quite expensive to implement. We'll keep you posted

Hi Guys. Neat liitle service you have here and a SWEET app too! ;) Yesterday I added support for AudioBoo to Phreadz. (Though not a sweet api way ;) ) Phreadz users can share their boos by simply entering the 'Boo-R-L' (see what I did there? :P ) when they create a post and it will go and find the username, audio, image attachment (if one exists) and display them in a flash player as a threaded post on Phreadz. See : http://phreadz.com/x/1MLUJC2SR7PQ/ for an example using the 'standalone viewer' (visible to non-members) and here http://documentally.phreadz.com/x/1QSMDASCQ84G/ in the main site template (on Documentally's channel)
From an API, I'd find it realy useful to be able to send a 'BooRL' and get back: (in JSON or a single RSS item)
One way suggest doing this is by providing an 'oEmbed' API interface (see http://oembed.com ) as used by flickr and others, where a urlencoded url is supplied and the data is returned in XML or JSON.
BTW: Where are you based? I'm in Australia at the moment, but will be back in the UK in 2 weeks. It would be great to meet up and chat about this stuff - and more potential opportunities ;)
Cheers! kosso Founder / Developer : Phreadz Networks Limited.
ps: If you want to sign up for a Phreadz account, there are signup links on a few of the 'public' channels - try http://movies.phreadz.com :)
