Posterous posting
Is there any way to link Audioboo to Posterous so that it only posts to certain feeds? For instance, I have my Twitter and Facebook linked to my Posterous account and my Audioboo account. I only want Audioboo to post to Twitter. Is that possible? If so, how do I set it up?

You want audioboo to link to Twitter only?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I want Audioboo to post to Posterous and Twitter, but not Facebook - as it would if I emailed ***@posterous.com instead of ***@posterous.com. Does that make more sense?

If you go to Settings at audioboo.fm, and then 'Posting to other sites' you can setup your account to post to Twitter and Posterous.

Still not clear enough, apparently.
When I set up Audioboo to post to my Posterous, the default is that it posts to everything my Posterous is linked to. It goes Audioboo --> Posterous --> Twitter+Facebook+Blog.
With most apps, I can set them up to go App --> Posterous --> Twitter+Blog, for instance. Can I do that with Audioboo, or not?

I've just had a quick look at how we post to posterous and there is the option to specify a "site ID" that we currently leave blank (meaning that it's sent to the default site).
If I added the option to change the site ID would that do what you want?

Not 100% sure, but it might do part of it. I suspect that would let me choose whether to send it to my default Posterous site or any of the others - so for instance picking between my personal blog & my business site.
That's a feature I would definitely like to use, but without seeing it I don't know if it'd answer the original question.

I've looked into it a little more and the site_id is actually an internal number used and audioboo would have to look up the sites you've got configured and offer you a choice when setting up the link.
I'll add it as a feature request along with a few other tweaks to the posterous linking..

Brilliant, thank you very much.

This feature would be great.
The issue I have si that my Posterous account is setup to automatically post to Facebook. If I set my Audioboo account to autopost to Posterous and Facebook, then I got two of the same posts on Facebook, because Posterous passes it on.
I like how Audioboo posts a widget in my Facebook page (Posterous only puts a link). Otherwise, I'd disable the Audioboo autopost to Facebook.
It would be awesome to set Audioboo to autopost to "***@posterous.com" so that it flags Posterous not to autopost it anywhere else.
