Locally Saved Boos, for publishing later.
I've found that when I'm out and about, on my travels, I may want to make a boo, and i tend not to want to use my networks bandwidth for transfering files.
A suggestion could be..
To save a boo locally so u can play them, edit them or delete them and publish them when ur on wifi or when u have the time.
Like I may have a couple of things I want say and blog and I want to get them out and record them asap, tho having to wait till it's uploaded to start another is, like sorry about this, we have to wait for it to upload before we can talk about something else... So being able to save them locally and then making a new boo :D there is no pauses and we can keep on blogging and staying within what were talking about.
Like if somethings important, and needs to record, it's a hassle to wait :(
Plus if u can save locally u'll be competing with the other voice recording apps and I'd say this would dominate if it had locally saved boos, cos I've tried allot of recording apps none have come close to the audio quality let alone saving them to mp3 and blogging.
This would totally make the other apps obsolete, cos at the moment audio boo is in a Market that isn't being used, so to stumble into voice notes, I'd say would dominate. :)
Only reason why I use the other audio app is cause I can save locally and fast, if audio boo saved locally I wouldn't need my other audio app, I can just use audioboo :)

Hi,
This should pretty much definitely be in the next version of the app we submit to the app store. We did want it to be in this version, but had some complication with the user interface that meant we couldn't get it in there in time.
We're currently focussing on getting the web-site sorted, so don't have a firm eta on the next version, but we'll definitely be on it before long.

Incidentally,
Although limited, you can leave a boo on it's recording screen and it won't be deleted when you close the app (you should even be able to append the recording if you don't press the publish button). This means you can make a single recording and it will be saved until you get to wi-fi to upload it.

Hi,
what happened to this idea? I can see that the app keeps the most recent boo if it's not uploaded but there's no way to record, tag, geo-tag several boos and save them for later uploading. This would be really useful. Not only when roaming, but also when you're at big events when the mobile network collapses so you can't upload immediately (but may want to record more than one boo).

A basic version of this has been released to beta testers. I have added you to this list, you don't have to do anything, but will notice a new tab has appeared in the app.
