FAQ: Posting to other sites

How do I post directly to Twitter and other sites?
To automatically post to Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Posterous or FriendFeed log-in to your account online, click on the “Settings” tab, and then “Posting to other sites” in the left hand menu.

Select the site that you wish to auto-post to and submit your log-in details. Don’t forget to click “save” for each service. From now on, your Audioboos will automatically post to whichever sites you’ve chosen.

Can I post to my Facebook Fan Page instead of my profile page?
The free version of Audioboo only allows you to post to personal pages.

Can I choose which sites individual boos post to?
Not at the moment. Once you’ve set up auto-posting it will apply to all of your Audioboos. You can log in on the website and disable auto-posting at any time though.

Can I embed an Audioboo in my website?
Yes – all Audioboos have an embed code that you can cut and paste into your website. Simply go to the boo page for the Audioboo you’re interested in and click “embed”. Cutting and pasting that code into your site should give you a nice boo player.

Do embeds works on WordPress?
If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog then it is possible to use the embed code as stated above. At present Wordpress prevents embedded players working within Wordpress.com.
